Thoughts I couldn’t ignore…

Love & Truth

Love isn’t always pretty words and constant agreement. Love doesn’t validate every thought or cheer on every decision. We live in a world that confuses love with constant validation. But real love is deeper than making you feel good in the moment. Love tells the truth. Even when it’s uncomfortable. Even when it’s not what you wanted to hear. If someone always agrees with you, never challenges you, never calls you higher, that’s not love, that’s appeasement. Love tells you the truth. Love says, “I care too much about you to let you stay where you are.” When someone really loves you, they’ll call you out when you’re wrong, they’ll challenge you when you’re slipping, and they’ll remind you of who you’re meant to be. Anyone can flatter you. But real love has the courage to tell you the truth. The ones who truly love you won’t just say what you want to hear. They’ll say what you need to hear. It doesn’t mean love is harsh or cruel it means love wants the best for you, even if the truth is uncomfortable. Sometimes love is encouragement. Sometimes love is correction. Love doesn’t bend reality to make you comfortable. It points you to what is real, good and true. This is important when you’re choosing who to allow in your circle. Don’t push away the people who love you the most for people who only want to tickle your ears. 💜🤟✝️
