Believe
What does God want from us? Not perfection. Not endless rule keeping. Not religious performance. Just faith. We spend so much time trying to prove ourselves, trying to be “good enough,” trying to earn God’s approval. But Jesus said it plain and simple “This is the work of God, that you believe in the One He has sent.” -John 6:29
Pisteuēte is a Greek word meaning "you believe," "have faith," or "trust". It is the second person plural, present, active, subjunctive form of the verb pisteuō. This form indicates a continuous action of believing. That’s our daily work, to keep clinging to Jesus. Not striving. Not proving. Just trusting.
