A Good Book
Forty writers, fifteen centuries, one truth. Jesus.
The Bible isn’t just a spiritual book it’s a book of truth that has stood the test of time. History, archaeology, prophecy, and even science confirm its accuracy.
Psalm 8:8 spoke of “paths in the sea.” Centuries later, Matthew Maury read it and discovered ocean currents we still use for navigation today.
Leviticus 17:11 said “the life of the flesh is in the blood.” Long before medicine understood it, the Bible revealed the vital role of blood.
Job 26:7 said God “hangs the earth on nothing.” While other cultures thought the earth rested on animals or pillars, Scripture described what science later confirmed.
Isaiah 40:22 described the “circle of the earth” way before humans knew it was round.
And prophecy? The Old Testament foretold hundreds of details about Jesus’ life, death, and resurrection all fulfilled perfectly.
Here’s what makes it even more amazing, the Bible was written by over 40 different people, across 1,500+ years, in different cultures and backgrounds yet from Genesis to revelations the whole book points to the same truth, God’s plan to redeem humanity through Jesus.
The Bible has survived bans, burnings, ridicule, and criticism… yet here it is, still transforming lives all over the world! I don’t believe the Bible is true because I find comfort in it; I believe it because evidence, history, science, and prophecy all confirm it is the living Word of God. I have felt and seen the presence of God all throughout my life. God is real, his word is true, and the only way to the father is through his son Jesus.
“Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will hear you. You will seek me and find me, when you seek me with all your heart.” Jeremiah 29:12-13 ESV
